蔡磊，中国科学院微生物研究所研究员，主要从事植物病原真菌与特殊生态类群真菌系统学、生物多样性及具有重要经济价值真菌资源的调查收集和应用评估等基础研究。

研究成果

对植物病原真菌系统学研究中的一些基础性问题提出新的学术思想，采用多相分类学的理论和方法，表型与基因型结合，建立部分类群科学的物种概念和趋于自然的分类系统，重点研究了植物病原真菌中一些复合种的遗传及生理病理特征分化。此外，还澄清了粪壳菌目一些重要属的系统演化关系，修订了部分类群的分类系统。对我国的淡水真菌进行了较系统的资源调查和分类学研究，并研究了其多样性和分布与环境因子的相互关系。鉴定真菌标本5000多份，分离保存菌株2500多株，发表新属5个，新种40个，新组合7个。在14种国际杂志上发表论文50篇（其中SCI论文44篇），发表英文专著一部，参编专著2部。任国际杂志Mycology 执行副主编，Fungal Diversity 编委，为Plant Pathology等9种国际杂志审阅稿件。获国家科技进步二等奖，云南省科技进步一等奖各一项。
